Terms of Service
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using TheTradeLoop ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
TheTradeLoop is a trading journal application that allows users to log, track, import, and analyze their own trading activity. The Service is provided for personal record-keeping and analytical purposes only.
3. Not financial advice
TheTradeLoop does not provide investment, trading, or financial advice. Nothing within the Service — including analytics, statistics, charts, or AI-assisted features — constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, futures contract, or other financial instrument. All trading decisions are made solely at your own discretion and risk. Trading futures and other financial instruments carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
5. Your data
You retain full ownership of the trading data, notes, and content you enter into TheTradeLoop. We do not sell your personal or trading data to third parties. Data you import (such as broker CSV exports) is used solely to populate your own journal.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Reverse engineer or resell access to the Service without permission
7. Beta access and future pricing
TheTradeLoop is currently offered free of charge during its beta period. We plan to introduce paid subscription plans in the future. Existing users will be given advance notice before any billing changes take effect, and no payment method is required to use the Service during beta.
8. Third-party integrations
The Service may allow you to import data from third-party brokers (such as Tradovate) or connect other third-party tools. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party services. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any broker or platform you connect.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations, imports, or analytics will always be accurate. You should independently verify important figures (such as P&L or tax-relevant data) against your official broker statements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheTradeLoop and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to trading losses, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
